After scoring a game-winning goal in overtime against the Tampa Bay Lightning the other night, Anaheim Ducks captain Scott Niedermayer skated towards some fans and tried to give his stick to a girl in the stands. He may have overestimated the home crowd, however, as his gesture was met by a swarm of aggressive fans fighting for the stick. Within seconds spectators began punching each other in a furious effort to claim the souvenir. In an interview afterward, Niedermayer said the stick was "for a little girl," which did not seem to stop bystanders from battling for it. Check out the videos below.
